Wanna One was one of the most successful and popular promotional boy groups to come out of a trainee survival show. Wanna One was formed through the second season of the show Produce 101, produced by Mnet, and debuted under YMC Entertainment and CJ E&M.
They debuted on August 7th 2017 and disbanded roughly a year a half later on December 31st 2018. Their debut song Energetic won them 14 first wins across Korean Muisc shows and their following title songs gained them another 33 first wins. Outside of music shows they've won over 30 awards, including: Best New Artist (Melon Music Awards 2017), Worldwide Fan's Choice Top 10 (Mnet Asian Music Awards 2018), and Disc Bonsang (Golden Disc Award 2019) and many more.
Out of the 11 members of Wanna One who debuted only two members were from already formed groups (Hwang Minhyun of NU'EST and Ha Sungwoon of HOTSHOT). Currently among the 11 members there are only two (kind of three) who haven't released music or done anything else besides social media since their disbandment. Below is what each member has come out with since the disbandment and any planned activities.
Member: Yoon Jisung (Instagram)
Birthday: March 8, 1991
Company: LM Entertainment
Activities: Solo
Yoon Jisung made his solo debut on Feburary 20th 2019 with his album Aside with the title track In The Rain and 5 other tracks, one of which Seo Changbin of Stray Kids features on. Aside is a nice album with a good balance of ballads and more upbeat and fun songs. Yoon Jisung has also recently had a comeback with the song 너의 페이지 (I'll Be There) on April 25th 2019. In his new album Dear Diary there are a total of 5 tracks which are again balanced between ballads and slightly more upbeat songs. Both albums showcase Jisung's vocals and are so nice to listen to at any time of the day. Sadly, Jisung is set to enlist sometime this year, presumably in the summer.
Member: Ha Sungwoon (Instagram)
Birthday: March 22, 1994
Company: Star Crew Entertainment
Activities: Solo (Twitter)
Member of: HOTSHOT (Twitter)
Ha Sungwoon made his solo debut with the album My Moment on February 28th 2019 and the title track Bird. My Moment also features another member of Wanna One, Park Jihoon, on the song Don't Forget. Sungwoon's has more upbeat songs with a kind-of hip-hop vibe to them, but it's very subtle. Other than the album release Sungwoon has made an appearance as a special DJ on Idol Radio when JBJ95 was on. Sungwoon is also set to appear in the new variety show Bistro the Noble which is to air on May 10 and 12 (Source).
Member: Hwang Minhyun (Instagram)
Birthday: August 9, 1995
Company: Pledis Entertainment
Activities: Group + Solo
Member of: NU'EST (Twitter)
Hwang Minhyun has not only had a recent comeback with his group NU'EST but also released a solo song a few weeks beforehand titled Universe. Universe is a very beautiful song that displays Minhyun's vocals so nicely and companied with NU'EST's album Happily Ever After it's very clear why he was one of the main vocals of Wanna One. NU'EST are currently promoting on Korean Music shows and are due to perform at KCON New York in the beginning of July.

Member: Ong Seongwoo (Instagram)
Birthday: August 25, 1995
Company: Fantiago
Activities: Solo/Acting
Ong Sengonwoo is one of the members who hasn't released any new music - whether it be solo or in a group - since Wanna One disbanded. On the other hand Seongwoo has focused on his acting and is the lead actor of JTCB's 'Moments of Eighteen' which is a coming of age story shared between 18-year-olds (Source). Seongwoo has also been active on social media, primarily his instagram.
Member: Kim Jaehwan (Instagram)

Company: Stone Music
Activities: Solo (Twitter)
Jaehwan is another member of Wanna One who hasn't released any music yet. He has had appearances on television (Immortal Songs) and appeared in magazines (The Star, Allure), and has been active on social media, especially VLIVE. Kim Jaehwan also has an upcoming fanmeeting called MIN:D which will take him outside of South Korea to countries like Japan and Thailand.

Birthday: December 10, 1996
Company: LM Entertainment
Activities: Solo (Twitter)
Daniel Ranked 1 at the end of Produce 101 and was the most popular member of Wanna One but he is actually the least active member right now. Currently, he's having disagreements with his agency and it's actually escalated to the legal level (Source). Hopefully the dispute can be settled quickly and with Daniel's best interest in mind!
Member: Park Jihoon (Instragram)
Birthday: May 29, 1999
Company: Maroo Entertainment
Activities: Solo (Twitter)
Park Jihoon is the third member of Wanna One to release an entire solo album. His debut album called O'clock came out on March 26th 2019 and has the title track called L.O.V.E . This album has a total of six songs with one of them, Young 20, being produced by another former member of Wanna One, Lee Daewhi. Jihoon's album is the most diverse among the members who has released albums. His album has a nice mix of vocals and rap which Jisung and Sungwoon's don't exhibit. Besides releasing an album Jihoon has also had an Asian Fanmeeting tour, been active on VLIVE, and is to perform at KCON Japan on May 18th.
Member: Park Woojin & Lee Daewhi
Birthday: November 2, 1999 & January 29, 2001
Company: Brand New Entertainment
Activities: Group Debut
Member of: AB6IX (Twitter)
Both Park Woojin and Lee Daewhi released a pre-debut song on April 25th 2019 as the group AB6IX with the song Hollywood, their official debut date will be May 22nd 2019. AB6IX is an interesting group that took an already existing duo, MXM (Lim Youngmin & Kim Donghyun) and added three new members to create AB6IX. Lim Youngmin and Kim Donghyun also participated on Produce 101 season 2 but were eliminated. Currently the group isn't promoting on music shows but they are set to perform at KCON New York in early July, and have their own variety show starting soon called BRANDNEWBOYS.
(Maybe Wannables will get lucky and a special stage of Minhyun, Woojin, and Daewhi will happen at KCON New York)
Member: Bae Jinyoung
Birthday: May 10, 2000
Company: C9 Entertainment
Activities: Solo (Group to Debut)
Member of: C9BOYZ (to debut) (Twitter)
Jinyoung hasn't released an entire album but released a single on April 26th 2019 called Hard to Say Goodbye, which is a beautiful ballad that is OST worthy. Bae Jinyoung has also had an official fanclub even in Seoul called 'IM YOUNG'. Jinyoung is set to debut in a boygroup under C9 Entertainment sometime later this year with 4 other members - their temporary name is C9BOYZ. Lastly, Jinyoung has already made an appearance on the new season Produce X 101 to give advice to trainees under C9 Entertainment.
Member: Lai Kuanlin (Instagram)
Birthday: September 23, 2001
Company: Cube Entertainment
Activities: Solo/Collab
The only release that Lai Kuanlin has had is his collaboration with Pentagon's Wooseok. Over the past week he's performed at events in Thailand and Singapore, and is active on his Instagram account. He's rumored to be debuted with Pentagon's next boygroup.
Let's see what kind of group this new season of Produce X 101 will bring us!
